Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is a pituitary hormone of 28 KD which stimulates thyroid growth and production of thyroid hormones. This antibody labels thyrotropic cells of the pituitary and may be useful in the classification of pituitary adenomas and the differential diagnosis of primary and metastatic tumours of the pituitary.
