Recognizes the beta subunit of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). This antibody is highly specific to FSH, and shows no cross-reaction with LH, hCG, TSH, prolactin, hGH, and bata-hCG. In the pituitary gland, FSH is produced by gonadotrophs.
